San Francisco Pistahan Parade and Fair, Saturday, August 13

Hello everyone.

.
Excited to see you all tomorrow at the San Francisco Pistahan Parade and fair. Appreciate if you would share with all your family and friends the ff info:
.
PISTAHAN PARADE
1. Assembly at Beale and Market Streets – 9-9:30AM
Look for the Philippine Consulate float (with coconut tree), which will be the first float in the parade line up. The SAVE Act convertible will follow.
.
The SAVE Act car will easily be identifiable as it will have banners on each side of the car with the message : “Write U.S. Congress to Pass SAVE Act. www.saveourindustriesact.org“.
.
Pls note that photo op will be at 10:30AM, when all the floats and cars have been fully decorated and lined up. The parade will start at 11AM. My previous experience is that the kickoff program and parade start on time.
.
2.  Uniform t-shirts
Option 1: tri-color red-white-blue collared t-shirt with Philippine archipelago embroidery on the left breast
Option 2: any plain red, white or blue t-shirt
.
3. Flyer distribution
We have 2,000 colored SAVE Act flyers to distribute during the parade. These will be given along with Boy Bawang snack packs (donated by industry friends) and the Philippine Consulate message on green living. Colorfully-dressed members of the Mabuhay Folkloric Society Dancers will walk with the SAVE car to help distribute flyers to the street audience.
.
PISTAHAN TRADE FAIR – PHILIPPINE CONSULATE BOOTH – H25
4. Pls find booth H25 at the Yerba Buena Gardens where SAVE Act petition letters, Consular and tourism materials will be available. Let your friends know that each person who signs a SAVE Act petition letter at the booth will receive a snack pack donated by our friends from the Bay Area food industry. As with previous Pistahan editions, more than 30,000 visitors are expected to this two-day weekend event.
.
This should be fun! See you tomorrow.
